Rozah (Maulana Abdul Majid Daryaabadi) Rozah istilah-e-shariat mein use kehte hain ke insan taloo-e-fajr se ghuroob aftab tak apne aap ko khane, peenay aur amal-e-zawjiyat se rokay rakhe. Jo roze farz hain wo mah-e-Ramzan ke hain. Ghubat, fahash, bad-zubani wagaira zaban ke tamam gunahon se roza mein bachne ki sakht taqidein hadees mein aayi hain. Jadeed aur qadeem tib is par muttafiq hai ke rozah jismani bemarion ko door karne ka behtareen ilaj aur jism insan ke liye ek behtareen maslah hai. Phir is se sipahiyana himmat aur zabt-e-nafs ki rooh sari ummat mein taza ho jati hai, is lehaz se bhi mahinay bhar ki yeh saalana mushq ek behtareen nuskha hai. Rozah ta'ameel irshad-e-khudawandi mein tazkiya nafs, tarbiyat-e-jism, dono ka ek behtareen dastoor-ul-amal hai. Ashkhas ke invidual aur ummat ke ijtima'i har do nuqta nazar se -85 is se maqsad taqwa ki adat dalna aur ummat aur afrad ko muttaqi banana hai. Taqwa nafs ki ek mustaqil sifat ka naam hai. Jis tarah muzir ghizaon aur muzir aadaton se ihtiyat rakhne se jismani sehat durust aur madi lazzatun se lutf-o-inbisat ki salahiyat zyada paida hojati hai, bhook khoob khul kar lagnay lagti hai aur khoon-e-saleh paida hone lagta hai, isi tarah is aalam mein taqwa ikhtiyar karne se (ya'ni jitni aadaten sehat rohani aur hayat-e-akhlaqi ke haq mein muzir hain, un se bachne se) aalam-e-akhirat ki lazzatun aur naimatun se lutf uthane ki salahiyat aur istidad insan mein puri tarah paida ho sakti hai. "Man saama Ramadan eemanan wa ihtisaban, ghufrilah ma taqaddama min zambi" Translation: Whoever fasts in Ramadan with faith and seeking reward, all his past sins will be forgiven. Khutba Ramadan Hazrat Salman Farsi riwayat karte hain ke mah-e-Shaban ki aakhri tareekh ko Rasool Allah ne hamein yeh khutba irshad farmaya, "Aye log! Tum par ek azmat aur barkat wala mahina saaya fagan raha hai. Is mahine ki ek raat (Shab-e-Qadr) hazar mahino se behtar hai. Is mahine ke rozay Allah Ta'ala ne farz kiye hain aur is ki raaton mein barqah-e-khudawandi mein khara honay ko nafl ibadat muqarrar kiya hai. Jo shakhs is mahine mein Allah ki raza aur uska qurb hasil karne ke liye koi ghair farz ibadat (sunnat ya nafl) ada karega to uska doosre zamane ke farzoon ke barabar sawab milega aur is mahine mein farz ada karne ka sawab doosre zamane ke 70 farzoon ke barabar hai. Yeh sabr ka mahina hai aur sabr ka badla jannat hai. Yeh hamdardi aur ghamkhawari ka mahina hai aur yahi woh mahina hai jisme momin bandoon ke rizq mein izafa kiya jata hai. Jis ne is mahine mein kisi rozay daar ko iftar karaya to us ke liye gunahon ki maghfirat aur aatish-e-dozakh se azadi ka zariya hoga aur us ko rozah daar ke barabar sawab diya jayega baghair us ke ke rozah daar ke sawab mein koi kami ki jaye. Aap se arz kiya gaya ke Ya Rasool Allah! Hum mein se har ek ke paas to iftar karane ka samaan muhaiya nahi hota. Aap ne farmaya ke Allah Ta'ala yeh sawab us shakhs ko bhi dega jo doodh ki thorri si lassi ya paani ke ek ghont se hi kisi rozah daar ka rozah iftar karade aur jo kisi rozah daar ko pura khana khilaye ga Allah Ta'ala us ko mere houd (Kauthar) se aisa serab karega jis ke baad us ko kabhi pyas nahi lage gi taan ke woh jannat mein dakhil hojaye ga. Is mahine mubarak ka ibtedai hissaRehmat, darmiyan hissa maqfirat aur aakhri hissa aatish-e-dozakh se azadi hai. Jo aadmi is mahine mein apne khadim ke kaam mein takhfeef aur kami karega, Allah ta'ala us ki maqfirat aur use dozakh se rahai de dega. (Rawayat al-Bayhaqi fi Shuab al-Iman)
