Roza ya siyam ke ma'ani hain kisi cheez se ruk jana, is se muraad khanay peenay se rukna hai. Arab mein log apne ghoro ko roza rakhwatay thay takay ghore ko lambay safar aur namoafiq halat ka aadi banaya jaye. Quran Majeed mein 23viin ruku tak roze ka hukam hai aur 24viin ruku se jung ke ahkamaat shuru hojatay hain. Goya ke insanon ke liye bhi yeh munasibat hai ke roza rakho takay jung o jadal ke namoafiq halat mein momineen pareshan na hojayein aur un halat ke aadi hojayein. Roza zabt-e-nafs ki mashq hai. Zabt nafs aur nafsani khwahishat ko kuchalnay mein farq hai. Yeh na ho ke aap nafs ke ghulam hojayein aur yeh bhi na ho ke aap nafs ko sare se kuchal dein. Nafs ko kuchalna rahbaniyat ka tareeqa hai. Islami tareeqa nahi hai. La rahbaniyat fil Islam yani Islam mein rahbaniyat ki koi jagah nahi hai. Zabt nafs ke ma'ani hain ke nafs ko Allah aur Rasool ke ahkamaat ka mati banao, jo nafsani khwahishat hain, uska nafaaz jaiz tareeqay se karo. Nafs naam hai asal mein insaan ke hewanani taqazoon ka. Yeh hewanani taqazay ya jubli taqazay andhay behray hain, unhein is se gharz nahi ke yeh taqazay halal se poore kiye jayein ya haram se. Yeh taqazay to sirf apni taskheen chahtay hain. Ab sawal yeh hai ke is nafs ko control kaun karta hai. Yeh hai ana ya khudi, mein ya Self ya fraud ki istilah mein Ego. Nafs ghora hai aur khudi ya ana ghore sawar. Yeh khudi nafs ko qabu mein rakhti hai. Agar sawar kamzor hai yani khudi to nafs jidhar chahe ga udhar jaye ga aur agar sawar yani khudi ya ana taqatwar hai to nafs ko jidhar chahe gi le jaye gi. Matlab hai ke nafs ki sawari par tum is tarah sawar hojao ke nafs tumhare control mein ajaye. Teesre darje par rooh hai jo sare mamlaat ko apne control mein karna chahti hai, jisko fraudne super ego kaha hai. Ja...wo Allah Kareem ke anwaarat ka tahammul kar sake. ***
